Who we are
3D Printed Photos is a trading name of Slingshot Search Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 10471851), registered office 80 Ashton Road, Denton, Manchester, M34 3JF. Slingshot Search Ltd is the controller of your personal data. For anything about your data, email hello@3dprintedphotos.com.
What we collect
- Your photos and the settings you choose (crop, size, brightness), so we can print your order.
- Order details: your name, email address, delivery address and what you ordered.
- Payment: handled by Stripe. We see that you’ve paid, but never your card details.
- Creator sample requests: if you ask for a free sample, your name, email, the social media profiles you share, your follower range and what you post about.
- Technical data: the basic logs our hosting providers keep to run and secure the site, such as IP address and browser type.
Your basket is saved in your own browser so it’s still there if you come back. We don’t use advertising or analytics cookies.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
- To make and deliver your order (contract): printing your photo, posting it, and emailing you about your order.
- To consider a creator sample request (consent): deciding whether to send you a free print and emailing you about it. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing us.
- To keep the site safe and working (legitimate interests): preventing fraud and fixing problems.
- To meet legal obligations (legal obligation), such as keeping accounting records.
We never use your photos for anything else, never share them publicly and never sell your details.
Who we share it with
Only the services that run the shop for us, each under contract to protect your data:
- Stripe (payments)
- Supabase (secure storage for orders and photos)
- Vercel (website hosting)
- Zoho (email)
- Royal Mail or another courier (your name and address, to deliver your parcel)
Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, they use approved safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.
How long we keep it
- Photos that don’t become an order are deleted after 7 days.
- Photos for completed orders are deleted 90 days after posting, in case you need a reprint.
- Order records (without photos) are kept for 6 years for tax and accounting.
- Creator sample requests we don’t take forward are deleted after 6 months.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email hello@3dprintedphotos.com and we’ll reply within a month. If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
