A gentle way to remember them

Losing a dog leaves a big gap. A photo on a phone is easy to scroll past; a print on the shelf is there every day. Our lithophanes are especially popular as memorials: with the LED light stand switched on, their face appears in a warm, soft glow, a little like a candle in the window.

Each print is made from your own photo, so it's their expression and their markings. Take your time in the studio choosing the photo that feels most like them, and save designs to come back to when you're ready.

A thoughtful gift for a friend who has lost their dog

When a friend loses their dog, it can be hard to know what to say. A print of their dog says it for you. If you have a photo of their dog, design it yourself and we'll post it straight to them. If not, ask them for a favourite photo and design it together.

Questions

Can you use an old or low quality photo?

Usually, yes. The studio shows exactly how your photo will print, so you can check before ordering. Close-ups print best; very small or blurry photos lose detail, and the small size is more forgiving than the large.

Which is best for a memorial?

Many people choose a white lithophane with the warm white LED stand, as their face appears in a soft glow when it's lit. A sculpted relief is lovely if you'd like something to hold. Try your photo in each in the studio.

Can I send it straight to someone else?

Yes. Enter their name and address at checkout and we'll post it to them directly.

Does the lithophane come with a light?

You can add our LED light stand at checkout, from £8. It holds the panel upright and lights it from behind with a warm white or colour-changing USB light, and it's printed in the colour you choose. Without the stand, a bright window or a lamp behind the panel works well too.

How long does delivery take?

We print every order in our Manchester workshop and post it within 5 working days. Tracked delivery usually takes 1 to 3 working days after that, and it's free on orders over £30.
