Mugs, cushions and canvases are lovely, and most people already have a few. A 3D printed photo is something new to hold, turn in the light and talk about. Each one is printed to order from your photo, layer by layer, in our workshop in Manchester.

Choosing the photo
- One clear subject works best: a face, a pet or a close hug.
- Sharp photos with good light and shade print the most detail.
- Crop in close so the subject fills the frame. The studio lets you zoom and move the photo.

- What kind of photo gifts do you make?
- Three kinds, all 3D printed from your photo: lithophanes (thin panels that glow into the picture when lit), filament paintings (layers of coloured filament that blend into a picture in normal light) and sculpted reliefs (carvings with real depth). Each comes in three sizes, from about 10 cm to 20 cm along the long edge.
- How much do they cost?
- Lithophanes start at £9, filament paintings at £10 and sculpted reliefs at £15. The LED light stand for lithophanes starts at £8 and the painting display stand at £4. UK tracked delivery is £3.95, or free on orders over £30.
- How long does delivery take?
- We print every order in our Manchester workshop and post it within 5 working days. Tracked delivery usually takes 1 to 3 working days after that, and it's free on orders over £30.
- Can I see it before I order?
- Yes. The studio builds a 3D preview from your photo in a few seconds, and you can turn it round, try different colours and sizes, and save it to order later.
